Coworkers Management and support

The Reporting Analyst builds your weekly and monthly sales, spend and production reports, and alerts you when a metric crosses its threshold.

- Approval
- Read-only. Sending outside the team: the report owner approves.
- Alert: this week’s fuel spend reached S/ 41,300.00, 18% over your threshold of S/ 35,000.00. The increase comes from the Piura fleet. I built the detail by unit.
- Send me the detail and prepare the weekly report for the board.
- Detail attached. The board report goes outside your team, so the report owner, Andrea, approves it. I sent it to her.
- Perfect, I’ll go over it with Andrea.
01 · What it does
The work it takes off your desk.
- Reads your data read-only: the ERP, your spreadsheets and the files you share.
- Builds the weekly sales, spend and production report in the format your team already uses.
- Compares against the previous week, month and year, and explains in two lines what changed.
- Watches the thresholds you define and alerts you on WhatsApp when a metric crosses one.
- Answers one-off questions from management, such as "how much did we sell this week by region?".
02 · How it works
Step by step.
- 01
Reads
Connects read-only to your ERP and your spreadsheets, and never writes to them.
- 02
Builds
Calculates the metrics, compares them with earlier periods and writes up what changed.
- 03
Alerts and delivers
Sends you the report and the threshold alerts. Sending it outside the team is approved by the report owner.
03 · Approvals
What goes out alone and what goes through a person.
It starts supervised: every report and every alert goes through the report owner first. With evidence, it moves to by exception: internal reports for your team go out on their own and sending anything outside the team is still approved by the report owner. It only reads: it never writes or changes data in your systems.

05 · Hours given back
What it is worth, in hours and dollars.
Example: with 4 weekly reports of 90 minutes each built by hand (gathering data, reconciling figures and formatting), it gives back 6 hours a week (4 × 90 = 360 minutes). At your team’s loaded cost, your dashboard shows it in US$.
06 · Questions
About this coworker.
Can it change data in my ERP?
No. It works read-only: it reads the data and produces the report, nothing more.
How do I know the numbers are right?
Each figure shows which file or table it comes from, and you can open that source. If two sources disagree, it points that out instead of picking one.
Can it send the report to the whole company?
Not on its own. Sending it outside the team needs the report owner’s approval.
