- Approval
- Draft journal entries that Accounting approves.
- Rosa, the October close is 70% done. The bank reconciliation matches. In payables there is a difference of S/ 3,215.00 against the subledger: one invoice booked twice. I left the adjusting entry as a draft with its support. Do you approve it?
- Approved. What is missing to close?
- Still missing: the inventory count from the warehouse, which was due yesterday, and the vacation accrual from HR. I already wrote to both. I’ll update you at 4 p.m.
- Good. The warehouse must deliver today.
01 · What it does
The work it takes off your desk.
- Builds the close calendar with an owner and a date for every task.
- Chases each team for what is missing: accruals, expense reports, counts and sign-offs.
- Reconciles key accounts: banks, receivables, payables and the detraction account.
- Builds the settlements and adjusting entries as drafts, with their support.
- Shows you each morning how much of the close is done and what is holding it up.
02 · How it works
Step by step.
- 01
Plans
Builds the close checklist with an owner and a date for every task.
- 02
Chases and reconciles
Asks each team for what is pending and matches the accounts against their subledgers.
- 03
Proposes entries
Leaves the adjusting entries as drafts, with support, for Accounting to approve.
03 · Approvals
What goes out alone and what goes through a person.
It starts supervised: every entry and every reconciliation goes through Accounting first. With evidence, it moves to by exception: reconciliations that match close on their own, and entries stay as drafts until Accounting approves them. A person always files with SUNAT, using their own Clave SOL.

05 · Hours given back
What it is worth, in hours and dollars.
Example: with a monthly close of 40 tasks and 15 minutes of manual chasing and follow-up per task, it gives back 10 hours a month (40 × 15 = 600 minutes). At your team’s loaded cost, your dashboard shows it in US$.
06 · Questions
About this coworker.
Can it post entries in my books?
No. It leaves the entries as drafts with their support, and Accounting approves them.
What does it do when a team doesn’t deliver on time?
It sends reminders with the task, the owner and the date, and shows you which team is holding up the close.
Does it work if we close in the ERP but keep part of it in spreadsheets?
Yes. It reads from the ERP, from exported files and from spreadsheets, and flags when two sources disagree.
