  1. Jorge, the 15W-40 hydraulic oil (20 L pail) is at 6 pails and its minimum is 10. In the last 30 days 18 were used. I suggest restocking 20 pails. Shall I prepare the order?
  2. Make it 24, the supplier sells by the box of 4.
  3. Updated: 24 pails (6 boxes of 4) in draft. Do you approve it to go to Purchasing?
  4. Approved.

01 · What it does

The work it takes off your desk.

02 · How it works

Step by step.

  1. 01

    Watches

Reads the kardex and compares each item with its minimum stock.

  2. 02

    Matches

Matches the kardex against physical counts and lists the differences.

  3. 03

    Proposes restocking

Prepares the order with the suggested quantity and the warehouse approves it.

03 · Approvals

What goes out alone and what goes through a person.

It starts supervised: every alert and every restocking order goes through the warehouse first. With evidence, it moves to by exception: stock questions and alerts go out on their own, and restocking is still approved by the warehouse. It never adjusts the kardex on its own: a person resolves the differences after the count.

05 · Hours given back

What it is worth, in hours and dollars.

Example: with 60 stock questions a day and 2 minutes per question, over 22 business days a month, it gives back 44 hours a month (60 × 2 × 22 = 2,640 minutes). At your team’s loaded cost, your dashboard shows it in US$.

06 · Questions

About this coworker.

Can it adjust my kardex?

No. It shows the differences between the kardex and the count, and a person in the warehouse decides the adjustment.

How does it know how much to restock?

From recent consumption and the minimum you set per item. The quantity is a suggestion and the warehouse approves or corrects it.

What if the system says there is stock and the warehouse has none?

It flags it as a difference and adds it to the next count list. It promises that stock to no one until it is confirmed.
