- Reports: on its own. Instructions to third parties: the field manager approves.
- Report for plot 12, morning shift. 3 of the 4 scheduled harvest crews went out, the Chincha crew missed because of transport. 420 cases harvested. And there is an irrigation failure in sector B, the pump won’t start.
- Noted, Wilmer. Plot 12: 3 of 4 crews and 420 cases. Incident: sector B pump won’t start; I already alerted the field manager. How many people were missing from the Chincha crew?
- It was 18 people.
- Thanks. That leaves 18 person-days uncovered in today’s report. The day’s progress is already in the field manager’s report.
01 · What it does
The work it takes off your desk.
- Receives each supervisor’s voice note on WhatsApp and turns it into text.
- Organizes each report by plot, task and crew: harvest, irrigation, pruning, applications.
- Consolidates the day’s progress against the target and builds the report for the field manager.
- Picks up incidents in what the reports say (pests, irrigation failure, staff shortage) and alerts on them.
- Asks the supervisor for the missing detail when a report is incomplete.
02 · How it works
Step by step.
- 01
Listens
Receives each supervisor’s voice note and turns it into an organized report.
- 02
Consolidates
Adds up progress by plot and task, and compares it with the day’s target.
- 03
Alerts
Tells the field manager about incidents. The field manager approves any instruction to third parties before it goes out.
03 · Approvals
What goes out alone and what goes through a person.
It starts supervised: every consolidated report and every alert goes through the field manager first. With evidence, it moves to by exception: reports go out on their own, and instructions to third parties (contractors, carriers, suppliers) are still approved by the field manager. It does not evaluate people’s performance or decide on their pay or continuity.

05 · Hours given back
What it is worth, in hours and dollars.
Example: with 8 supervisors, 15 minutes of transcription and consolidation per report and 6 working days a week, it gives back 12 hours a week (8 × 15 × 6 = 720 minutes). At your team’s loaded cost, your dashboard shows it in US$.
06 · Questions
About this coworker.
Does it understand voice notes with field noise and regional speech?
It transcribes them and, when a figure or a plot is unclear, asks the supervisor instead of assuming.
Can it give instructions to my people or a contractor?
Reports go out on their own. An instruction to a third party, such as a contractor or a carrier, is approved by the field manager before it goes out.
Does it use the reports to evaluate supervisors?
No. It consolidates progress and incidents. Evaluating staff is a decision for people.
